Automatrix has developed the VisualPlanner XTension, now on version 2.5, and combining more features than ever. VisualPlanner provides QPS users with a simple visual guide to the status of articles and layouts in real time as the publication takes shape.

Featuring dynamic updating, VisualPlanner gives QuarkXPress and CopyDesk users a floating palette of thumbnails of all the layouts relating to a particular query defined in the search facility.

Status tracking shows information regarding the progress of layouts and articles on particular pages in an easy to read format to ensure users and production managers are on target to hit deadlines.

Enhanced functionality in version 2.5 allows users to checkout read-only or editable layouts directly from the VisualPlanner palette, zoom in and out of pages displayed in the palette and even print the palette contents.
